On a personal note...
On the personal side, I have been a resident of Niagara Falls for more than 45 years. I live with my husband Roy of 29 years, and two cats. We love this area because of the surround-ing natural beauty and variety of activities that are available here. My sister Dianne lives in St. Davids, and my father, who is 84 lives nearby. In fact, my love for beautiful homes started because of my Dad; when I worked on construction as a helper when he installed hardwood floors. He has an incredible work ethic, and still is a great role model for me.
As an Honours student in High School, I graduated with a scholarship for Brock University, but I decided to work full time after my first year. My goal was to eventually own or operate my own business, so while working full time in an accounting career, I attended night school towards a CGA certification (Certified General Accountant). After working several years in general and industrial accounting, a real estate career opportunity became available, and in 1987 I obtained my real estate license, and never looked back.
When I am not working, I love learning. I am an avid reader, and I have a great passion for art and painting. I am especially interested in improving my health and fitness, achieving personal balance and also in personal self development. I am strongly committed to Re/Max sponsored charities; raising money for Breast Cancer and Childrens' Miracle Network. I donate a portion of my commission on every sale to Childrens' Miracle network (Sick Kids Hospitals).
I love what I do, the people I meet, and the experiences that I've had. The joy of helping so many families go from dream to reality creates a legacy in my heart, and the friendships and support I receive from my clients makes my commitment to excellence become even stronger.
